Blade , not sure if I misunderstood any of the preceding but are you going directly from Raven to Newtown ? If so I would say that is quit a long run and pretty dull in many parts. My suggestion would be Raven to Craven Arms, down A49 plenty of fast stuff, 40 mins max. Meet Kwacky and the brummies at Station Cafe, cup of tea, then we have the Craven to Newtown run to really get the day going . We will still be at Newtown on schedule.

Dale I know the way you mean but not really a fan of that way personally. You go that way by all means but I will stick with my original plan via Ellesmere and Welshpool as I like that route. Not meant in anyway as awkward just want to stay with what I know and like. I'm a creature of habit (blush)

Blade, no worries , it's your shout, just a suggested alternative. See you at the raven, obtw, what is your route to Raven, are going down the A49 ? , is so we could meet up at the Northwich cross roads at the petrol station and ride on from there ?? Lmkwyt ?

Dale, as some people are coming from a decent distance I don't want to make it too early a start for them, so it'll have to be a pick up only at the Craven Arms. I reckon we'll be there about 10.30 then it's half an hour to Newtown to meet the others.

Perkles and I will meet you for breakfast at the station one of the sundays.

Dale if you don't mind can we just meet at the Raven. Sorry mate not meant to be miserable. I plan to be there for 9am and leave at 945am which allows me 45 mins flexibility on arrival time. The missus is out Saturday night so I will be getting the kids breakfast sorted before departure which takes 10 mins or 50 mins depending on what mood there in and when their mum wakes from the dead. If things go to plan I will be at the Raven for 9 for a nice breakfast but if running late I can just turn up and go. Hope that's OK mate and you never know we might bump into each other on route as you blast past me.

PS. Be warned when you turn right on the a49 at the crossroads with a pub (thinks its called the fox or something) the next village has new speed cameras.

Long range weather forecast looks promising.

I'll keep an eye on it and let everyone know for sure on Saturday evening.

Will be good to see the bike Frankie as not laid eyes on it yet and I know there an impressive machine.

In fact quite a few of us will be on new bikes, perhaps its should be called the new bike rideout (giggle)

Can't remember if its been said before but who's meeting me at the Raven ?

I know Dale and Jimmy are, I assume Rocket and Andy are. Anyone else ? Can't remember the original list sorry, I've slept between now and then so my brain cell has been reset a few times already.
