Good job Frankie. Sure your settle into that in no time especially with your experience and being able to talk to just about anybody! Really enjoy the new role and certainly enjoy all those weekends away of 'having' to test ride bikes on track etc!!

Ha ha, cheers guys, I don't know about a beer, I was snoring my head off at 9pm, hence the early wake up, as this was in the front room doh! (facepalm)
It's hard work this selling bikes lark!
I think my head is in overdrive, trying to cram in not only bike facts, like when did the new GS get a bigger flywheel for improved torque, too how the systems works with finance and everything else that is not selling, but the paperwork side of things. Typical me I want to know it all now ha ha.

So I think my brain said it was full and shut down last night.

I dunno, there's worse things to have to learn about than bike facts.

And you can go on tankslap each day and call it research...... I do.

Great news Frankie really chuffed for you, got to be more fun than selling fans in boxes to idiots.

Must have been quite a difficult decision to leave an industry you've been in for a long time though.

I think you would most likely know the answer, but its the GS 1200 TE and the Adventure model, I have to say they are so well kitted out it is unreal. I will be getting my hands on one soon 8) (Hopefully)
Once I do I will do a little write up if its ok with Kwacky, The sat Nav package alone is unreal, the TE has all the brackets and is plumbed in, so all you do is add the sat nav, there is a deal at the moment where this is free, but it talks to the bike, tyre pressures, full riding read out from your ride its amazing stuff for sure. And the new double R. I think to be fair when to XR comes out that will get a great deal of interest as it uses the same engine as my S1R.
But I really need to understand the GS for now, as the best way to know about it is to use it ;)

Cheers Monty,

Yes it was and has taken me a long time to get to this point, I needed to do something, and even though this is blowing my mind with computer systems galore which all need to be understood and used quickly as well, I really enjoy talking to, and helping the customer which is what is all about :) Oh yeah and selling them a bike ;) Its only three days in so early days, but I am happy and that is what I needed to be, so a big plus so far (sun)

If you've found a job that makes you happy and pays a reasonable wage you've nailed it Frankie!

The best job I've ever had paid nothing but free diving (Divemaster) and my current job is my best paying but it feels like a prison sentence every time I go offshore.

I'm more than happy for you to do reviews and to post about offers and discounts etc. I'll always do what I can to help a slapper with his/her job and project. My aim for this site has always been to create a little biking community where we look after each other. :)

If you want do a fresh post in the biking section for your reviews I can tweet them and link them on facebook. It makes it easier for me to link them and for people to find them.

May I ask Frankie. Unsure if this is crossing a line but what is the selling quota you must meet? Is it a daily target or a weekly etc? Only reason why I ask is because I watched a program on BBC where 2 car salesman from totally different ends swapped over. Each had very different quotas!
