Not read the article but I believe Aoyama has got the ride.

Personally I would prefer to see a young gun given a chance on the factory ride. Cal or Scott Redding would be my choice as they are both talent Honda riders worthy of a chance IMO.

If Stoner were to ever come back I'm pretty certain he'll have wanted a lot more notice to get himself ready and he'll want a full season.

I don't think we will ever see him do a full season again. He turned down a £10 million per year contract to leave Honda. Rumours have it he was offered a season with Marquez this year but turned it down flat.

I don't blame him tbh. Young lad still and already retired but probably a few million a year to test ride the worlds best motorcycle. Win win in my book.
