He's a well known figure paid for by the public. Brawling in a pub is always going to get him the sack.

I wonder if the producer fella will be starting to worry a tad ? Instead of hitting him back , he just killed the second best tv show in Britain

You can't blame the producer, he didn't even report it. Clarkson dobbed himself in.

I'm not blaming him. I'm just saying that he is the straw that broke the camels back. He isn't going to be remembered for all the good things he did is he?

I just don't see how anyone can defend him.

As a mate said that if it was a pissed up chav who did that in a restaurant, then the public would want him locked up, so how is Clarkson any different?

I see Yorks police are taking an interest too. :D

Eventually we will end up in a very beige world the way we are going.

If he had punched me in the lip, I'd have had to be subdued from trying to pull his face off. Like I say. It should have been settled there and then then kept quiet.
Same as if you Injure yourself at work now. If it's minor you daren't tell anyone as you know the inevitable sh#t storm would not be worth it

Things change. Some things are better than others, but don't fall for the trap in allowing the Daily Mail to tell you how to think.

Hey Binno I agree the world is getting far too PC and nanny state, but I all honesty you should expect to get to work and not get assaulted. It happened to me and the guy lost his job. He spat in my face and got a warning. Later that day he was angry about his warning and when he spotted me in the smoko room threw his full work bag at me and knocked me clean over a table. He was pissed because he felt I got his promotion.

The guy involved has told the police he doesn't want to press charges. Which seems sensible to me, the police have got better things to be dealing with.

Just read an article saying top gear will be back next year and if anyone has any suggestions feel free to send them a message at the top gear website. So of anyone wants reviews on bikes now's the time to suggest!

However I think we all know exactly what will happen. Millions of people will tune in to watch the first episode...Just to moan about it at the end of the episode!!

Heard possible clarkson replacements are Suzi perry, Chris Evans, Vicki butler Henderson.

All good presenters but nonr will replace the arrogant, refreshingly non PC dinosaur that was / is clarkson.

Like him or loath him but he is not easy to follow.

I agree Evans would be good and could probably pull it off but I have heard he is not interested even though they want him.
