What a knob.

As you say. Lucky escape.

Keep looking, you'll get what you want and it will be worth it.

Wow sorry they have been so two faced with you ...

Was only talking about this the other day with a mate. when ive been going to shops asking about test rides and the sales person no we don't but if your unhappy with the bike for what ever reason in the first 7 days you can return it and get your money back. Yeah I'm sure they would I'm guessing it would be a lot of hassle to see any of your money back.

I'm sure your right Rocket.

Plenty learned in this experience. Even though I did all the sensible checks plenty can go wrong.

Morale is never trust a car or bike salesman no matter how nice they are.
Some maybe genuine but better to be polite but paranoid IMO.

I f you decide on a weekends holiday here I'm sure I can give you tractor lessons , might even get the ride on lawn mower out for you to drool over....4 speed and reverse , not too good on the bendy bits in the wet, the back end tends to step out a tad :S

Anyway far to much merriment on a friday (giggle)

Sorry to hear he's being a dick about the money Blade, not sure about the car industry, but our industry spends nothing on a trade in until it's sold, if that salesman works to the same rules, he will be down on the deal on paper already; it's entirely likely another punter will want different tyres fitted, he's then got to shift the used tyres to offset his loss.

It's surprising he's being sticky about the money and the deal, most people are pretty switched on regards money and the law these days, especially those that are in the market for high end kit like that, tbh I wouldn't think he's going to see any prospective Porsche buyers that'd fall for the bullying routine during his career.

I've got a lot of time for tractors, a Massey 135 was the first proper vehicle I ever drove. Mind you the scantily clad female students that were working on the same apple farm getting summer drinking money did tend to cause my attention to wander......

Am loving that speed monster tractor though!

The tyres were Porsche N rated so I doubt anyone would want to change to something different.
