I really hope I'm wrong but I can't see him winning or even getting a podium.

I think you're right. While it's good to see him back I think it's being over hyped. He's coming back for the publicity, which is working.

Exactly my point Kwacky.

I'm a huge fan and he is a legend, but the bikes, electronics and technology has changed. Whilst he will be quick were talking fractions of a seconds of the pace and your not competitive. He has nothing to prove and lags any time on the bike to expect him to be competitive is unrealistic IMO.

However saying all that I will be made up if I'm wrong and as happy as anyone if he gets the win or a podium.

He's qualified 18th so far, see how well he does in tomorrows qualifying.

Dunno "beINsport" just lists it as FIM Superbike.....either way will make for a few nice evenings in front of the telly......and at a decent hour for a change

Wrll that was a bunch of crap.....2 hours of watching a load of graveltrap addicts doing a trackday.....lame!

Tomorrow looks better....5 hours of coverage...so hats off to beIN for at leadt trying.
And well done to the Brits.
