Who ever hosts it all this doubt and changing of venues will not sit well with the Organisers regardless of what they are saying in public.

Britain has a rich history in motorsport and we deserve a Motogp event we really do, but we need to loose the politics and arguing over where it is going to be hosted and concentrate of delivering a world class show or we run the risk of loosing the event. There is certainly enough countries around the globe that would love to host a round and probably are more sponsor friendlily so we need to stop mucking about and deliver.

My fear is that this becomes an excuse to do another European race and drop the UK.

What's the problem with just using Silverstone full stop. Seems a big enough circuit for it. I only watch on telly so not bothered about how hard it is to get in or out.

A lot of fans don't like it because it lacks atmosphere and character. It's a big open circuit which is pretty flat and featureless.

Well I maybe on my own but I like it personally. Both for the facilities and the spectating. If you watch at the complex before the old start finish straight you get to see 3 or 4 corners and plenty of overtaking on the way in and on the way out of the corner which I think is called Luffield.

Only been to Silverstone once for motogp, I had grandstand tickets and had a great view of the grid but most of the race I watched on the large screen, still had a great time and like others have said the facilities were far superior to Donnington, getting in and out was a pain and I hear they charge for car parking now £10, so if I do get the chance to go this year I'd go on the bike.
I get knocked down but i get up again.

I think the £10 parking charge is hopefully a good thing as will ease traffic congestion hopefully.

Another sensible thing Silverstone organisers have done in the past is park and ride from various motorway services.
