Re: The World's Fastest Indian
It's good...a modern day classic. It's not strictly accurate, as usually some Punjabi chap running away with Kwacky's balti qualifies better for the title, but it's pretty decent.

And hopefully without spoilers......Munro went to the Salt Flats 9-10 times.....his record has never been broken in over 40 years.

Try and read his biography, it's a great book, the film has a lot of the good bits but none of his earlier life, he was a real character and renowned lady chaser.

Seen it few times...always great to watch again. Heart warming and hopefully I'll keep the passion into late life too..wouldn't mind a record either but unlikely ;-)

Re: The World's Fastest Indian
I have this movie on DVD, it's a cracker, he does the kiwi character very well. I'd be happy to burn a copy for anyone that wants one, but if there's a few get together and I'll post to one location.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.
