Not sure. I know on Sunday I've got my son for the day while wifey takes our daughter shopping. I'm hoping to get to see the last Hobbit film Sunday evening.

Re: Weekend Plans???
It's Tree weekend, so we're off to get the Christmas tree tomorrow morning, which means hoofing round a field of trees and picking one out that we like, Sunday is decorating it whilst attempting to eat and drink our own body weight in mince pies, sausage rolls and Glühwein.

Re: Weekend Plans???
Well any plans I had went out the window on Friday afternoon....came down with the weirdest fever that totally knocked me for six. Wrapped up in double & triple blankets and I was still freezing cold & absolutely pouring in sweat.
And the odd thing was, at times it was having a hallucinatory effect as I was often only in a semiconscious state....it was very bizarre, but thankfully seems to have cleared up.

Re: Weekend Plans???
Really?? I didn't know those sort of symptoms could be a result of food poisoning, but clearly I'm no MD.
But it actually was my first thought.....I'd only eaten biscuits & sausage gravy for brekkie, and was kinda thinking the sausage was either old, or undercooked.....and believe me, there was vomiting aplenty.....couldn't even kept a glass of water down....I'll think twice before I go to that place again.
I wouldn't care, but I only go there for the biscuits, which are excellent....the sausage gravy is a bit meh.

Re: Weekend Plans???
I had some fantastic visuals when I had seafood poisoning.
I've never been so ill. I was lying on the floor, couldn't move, shivering, sweat pouring off me, seeing weird shit. Sam was close to calling for an ambulance.

Re: Weekend Plans???
Yup, same has happened to me - got food poisoning in Detroit airport and was in serious pain on the flight back and when I got home I emptied in half an hour. I was told afterwards I'd been talking to people that had never been in the room, same thing as you Daz - shivering and sweating, but writhing in pain as well. Rather have another hip op than go through that again.
