Re: Bah Humbug ... Motorcycle Related Christmas List
I'm pretty much past wanting random things my family thinks I might need or want, best presents are things I can eat, drink or experience. Having said that I wouldn't say no to a new motor for the track bike with a few more ponies - and the ability to ride it properly.

They're wearing really well and seem tough enough. Despite the colour fading I'm happy with them and won't be looking to change them. I can'#t complain for the money.

A massive bar of chocolate to melt and make rice crispie squares with raisions and a massive bar of chocolate to have as a side with that!! I only get a couple of times of the year (Easter too) where I don't feel bad about eating the amount I want to eat and not the amount I should eat haha!! Though must admit lately been buying chocolate or pudding type stuff every week...can't be good for me haha!!

Re: Bah Humbug ... Motorcycle Related Christmas List
I want an automated pulley system which I don't have to operate with one handed which would help me get my bike on a van on my own. I've looked at lifts and all sorts but can't find anything that would help :-(

Can't you use the bike to propel itself up the ramp & into the van.?bb41 wrote:I want an automated pulley system which I don't have to operate with one handed which would help me get my bike on a van on my own. ....
Fwiw that's how I load mine, both into my trailer or into my van.

Fair enough. I imagine that the consequences of messing up like that are pretty dire.bb41 wrote:..I could but have nearly come a cropper , I'm not very strong and the last time I didn't fair well

Re: Bah Humbug ... Motorcycle Related Christmas List
Do you use one or two ramps? If you setup 2 ramps, one for the bike and one for you its much more secure.bb41 wrote:I could but have nearly come a cropper , I'm not very strong and the last time I didn't fair wellStMarks wrote:Can't you use the bike to propel itself up the ramp & into the van.?bb41 wrote:I want an automated pulley system which I don't have to operate with one handed which would help me get my bike on a van on my own. ....

I watched a guy load an RSV that way, they are an awkward bile to push round and he made it look fairly easy.
