I think I'll go with the TCX - SR1 Goretex boots. I like the look as well as the recommendations.

I need boots now mate. However I can wait until then to see if I can get a deal on Rukka clothing and some new Puma boots.

Can I join in the boot debate? Mine are in a terrible state. So I've been looking. Would it be weird or uncomfortable to have these boots on a Speed triple?

They look good enough for protection and I see they're goretex. Will the buckles and straps catch on anything on your bike?

Sidis for me...although you need to go a size up as they are narrow. I crashed in mine, gloves and leathers had holes in them...the sidis had a mere scuff. can't think of a better recommendation.

I think they are labelled as 'Adventure' boots rather than MX boots.

The boots arrived today and I wore them home. Very comfortable and feel sturdy. The only negative at the moment is a lack of feel on the gear side but I'm sure that'll come when the boots break in.

Yeah but looking at the soles there will not be much movement on them so will still be restrictive , try them on and see before you buy.
