I've got one of these as new:-
Quality bit of kit.
http://blog.revzilla.com/2011/05/daines ... eview.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Photos of the suit available on request. It's black and a large size. It fits over my leathers or commuting gear. I'm 5 foot 11 and medium build.
These are £70 new. I'll take £40 posted for a slapper. £40 + £5 postage for non-slappers

Beringer and Waterproofs sold.
Pimp the gloves to see if anyone wants them. No watchers at present so will consider sensible offers. Otherwise I'll keep them.

This is why I hate ebay. A buyer takes ages to pay, he joins tankslap to get the free postage offer, then demands an invoice with the discount, takes days to pay, has the goods for a week now claims the goods aren't as described. So he's had use of the suit, or found something cheaper and despite my advert saying "no returns" ebay will give him what he wants.

Re: Dainese One Piece Waterproof oversuit in Black
I won't delete his account. I want to prove that I advertised this suit before I put it on ebay and I advertised it as a large.
I bought a large. It's a UK large. The size on the suit is 2XL or something like that, or so he says.
I've still got the invoice which states "large". I even put my height and chest size on the ebay advert, just to make it clear who it would fit. That's not enough. He says "we have purchased it on basis that it be Actual Size Large (i.e. as defined by manufacturer) and not by ones interpretation of being "Size Large".
He does all of his transactions and emails in the middle of the night. That email was 2.55am. I have no idea who "we" are. He doesn't even say if he's tried it on or if it fits or not.
I'll let Ebay sort it out but I suspect they'll give in to him and I'll be out of pocket.

The prick is now alleging the item is damaged. He's damaged it to get a return. This is bang out of order. I had a zip repaired on that suit and the shop checked it over.

Re: Dainese One Piece Waterproof oversuit in Black
I like ebay for buying, for selling it's a frickin nightmare because of pricks like this.
We sold a kids coat a few years back, lying buyer claimed it was damaged and filthy.
The missus refunded them via Paypal and asked for it back. She wouldn't until we'd paid her return postage costs.
If you search through ebay there's a page in the terms and conditions that state the buyer is responsible for such costs. *
I sent this to her and she replied by saying that we weren't getting the coat back, and it was tough.
To this day it still grinds my gears and every time I think about it I picture myself riding to her house and putting a brick through her window/face/foo-foo.
*Handily, ebay also have another link which states that the seller is responsible for such costs.
Which is it ebay, you massive tw*ts?

Let's say someone pissed me off like that, and lets say I had their postal address, I would maybe consider sending them a pile of dog shit in a box....if I didn't have a dog, I would send them some of mine!

Interesting reading the ebay records, when you have a little time on your hands, what people buy and sell.

Re: Dainese One Piece Waterproof oversuit in Black
I once sold a tv as collection only, guy paid via PayPal, come and collected and left me feedback to say it was all good, then 3 months later opened a case to say he did not receive the item, after fighting for ages, showing them all the evidence of him leaving feedback and the fact it was collection only including the text he sent me arranging the pick up, as I had no proof of postage PayPal accepted his claim and left me outta pocket and a tv short, lesson learnt, cold hard cash on collection now, that is it
