The rearshock is done and will be posted out today. I should have it for the weekend.

Now need to get the bike booked in for it's MOT and it'll be ready for Spring.

Not too bad and at least you know the shock has been fully serviced to like new condition.

New spring, revalved and full refresh and service then set up for me. I gave them all the usual details.

What's on as standard as if I'm reading it right that's a 195 spring which is quite stiff and will make a big difference.

Not sure what the stock is. I can find out. He did say that the standard spring is for a 75kg rider. I'm 98 with all my kit on.

Should make a big difference. Was it squatting at the rear alot and running wide ?

Dont forget to set the sag again at the front as well as the rear, as things that change at the rear will effect the front and with a correctly supported rear you win be carrying more weight on the front.

They do loads of track days as well. They've got a good reputation and are really friendly sand patient, which you need to be when dealing with a Muppet like me.

Looks good kwacky! Will work a treat that bud! Nath had it done on his gsxr k6 1000 before and I had 4 sessions at Cadwell and 2 at aintree, same spring and revalve done, it handled sublime, nearly as good as the 675

All fitted ,it feels a lot stiffer with nice controlled rebound,in fact it feels stiffer than my Ohlins ttx but I'm not sure how they should feel when the bike isnt running

Gave the bike a quick run out. I went a road I know caused the bike to skip about. No issues this time. In fact I managed a power wheelie as I changed gear, which took me by surprised as I'm so used to the SX stopping those from happening.

As Blade rightly predicted, the front needs to be sorted out now to match the rear.







There's loads more left to do to the bike, including front fork refresh, link pipe, possible new headers and ECU, rearsets and blinging up the calipers to name but a few ideas kicking around in my head.

Both of the wheels are looking well used now. The front could do with being replaced as it's been dented.

I'll keep an eye out for a spare front and I think I'll get the rear powder coated or sprayed next winter.
