Not the post but picked up a bottle of Paraffin for chain cleaning and also some cheap blue towel (tissue) for when i work on bikes, always comes in handy both from B&Q. So cheap for paraffin, less than £7.50 for 5 litres. I do need to clean my chain as haven't cleaned it for the summer, but i do lube it regularly!! Swings and roundabouts wigh grit being inside I guess!

I can't remember how long I have had mine but longer than I remember and still going strong.

I do like a clean chain. The previous owner of the 675 had used that horrible wax chain lube and it looked like it had been in a bukkake party

Got it all cleaned off with Paraffin and use dried lube. Looks way better

I find dry lube tends to wash off very easily in the rain. I was told years ago to dry lube hen wax on top for all year riding.

I'm using Rockoil at the moment and it's excellent.

I have some of these on the MT, they do the job perfectly fine, mine were donated to me by the very kind Mr Kwacky.

Which coffee did you go for? I used to really like Arpeggio but I've gone off it of late. Quite like the Roma and Kazaar

We got 2 sets of those cups for free on a previous order, the first set has a visible crack but it still holds fluid so they still get used

Kwacky, these are 100% aluminium and they recycle them. Not like the plastic ones from other manufactures

This the coffee i drink now. Its easier and cheaper to make your own ultimately, in my opinion. Tastes better too.

And this is the freshest ground coffee out there. Ironically i had some delivered this morning.

It's coffee in general. The massive rise in demand has meant large areas of wildland have been destroyed for the coffee farms.

Was listening to a piece about the fragility of certain key foods, coffee is at the top of the shit list, there are only two varieties of the coffee plant that are currently commercially grown for cherries/beans, Arabica and Robusta, inevitably there’s already signs of leaf rust appearing in South America. The plants have been selectively bred and evolved for taste and yield and consequently their resistance to disease has dropped. One award winning Barista I listened to said “ We are living in a golden age of coffee, enjoy it while you can”.

The whole sustainability of our lifestyles will come under increasing scrutiny over the next 20 years, IMHO.

We cannot continue to plunder all the world's resources as we are doing and still expect to carry on living our lives as we do. Humans have previous for destroying their own environments and then moving on. Trouble is we are running out of places to move on too.
