Acaia Lunar coffee scales.
Think it’s time to upgrade my coffee machine.. the scales are worth more than my current machine
But they do connect to an app and give me a flow rate graph.

Re: Mr Postman
Merrell Moab 3 Gortex hiking boots for myself and Jess. Runners just aren’t cutting it anymore. Were $300 but managed to get them for $170 pair on a flash sale at an adventure chain here in Aus. Bloody amazing boot tbh. No wearing in, just comfy from the get go. I’ve been doing an hour hike each morning once the kids are dropped, so racked up over 20 km on them already.

La Sportiva for me - again no wearing in and brilliant for hiking and climbing. I've walked almost every day with the dog since i bought them to do everest base camp etc 10 years ago, still going strong.kiwikrasher wrote: ↑20 Jul 2023, 23:43 Merrell Moab 3 Gortex hiking boots for myself and Jess. Re: Mr Postman
I had some cheap decathlon own brand ones, about £40 and lasted 3 years of long camera walks. They finally gave in last month and got a pair of Scarpa boots, bloody comfy but have taken some breaking in. Huge blisters on the first 7 mile walk.C00kiemonster wrote:La Sportiva for me - again no wearing in and brilliant for hiking and climbing. A graphene ceramic coating for my car arrived so I thought I'd give it a go on the bike first.

Yep....the proportions are spot-on - you'd be pressed to see at a glance, that it's not a bigger bike.

A full face mountain bike helmet... because now I'm "like, totally sending the GNARRR duuude!"
Sadly the peak has arrived snapped but fortunately I had purchased a spare so at least I can use it for the bike park this weekend

A faceache marketplace purchase, an exhaust for the GS
We agreed on £250+ post which I thought was a fair price, then I looked up how much these are new, you don't get much change from £900

Re: Mr Postman
Lots of parts prices have gone stupid.
I was listening to a podcast last night and they were saying how a race kit ECU and wiring loom for a fireblade was £1200 in 2019, £5200 now

Re: Mr Postman
I got one this week as well. Complaining that my offset account was greater than my mortgage and they are upset they weren’t making any money off me, and did I want to borrow more
