I blame the fact that the referendum was nothing more than a publicity stunt aimed at winning votes. They never thought leave would win and never had a plan to follow it through.

I don't like Brexit and i am 100% certain it will lead to a decade or more of tough times if we leave with No Deal. No Deal means we are in a very weak position afterwards. 50% of all imports and 50% of all exports will be slower to be delivered and more expensive than they are now. That will mean significant job losses around the Country.

I don't believe i will see any benefit of it in my lifetime.

Brexit has never been about making Britain a better place for the many, its been about control, power and money of a few.

We will still need significant immigration as we are an ageing population and we will still need to trade mostly with Europe as its our closest neighbour.

If someone could tell me how it will lead to a significant improvement in my life then maybe i could understand it but no one ever has.

Brexit is based heavily on a mistrust of non-British people which to those who have seen a bit more of life around Europe will know is absolute bullshit.

Britain and the majority of British people will be the big losers in all this.

Sorry to be out of kilter with the rest of you, but I would not be happy to proceed.
My concern is that the result was achieved by manipulation & falsehoods, not an actual consensus of those amongst us who generally take part in the democratic process.
Having said that, I suspect that even if I did get my preferred option of the deciding 3rd referendum, the result may not be what I would want anyway.
But I can hope, and wish. No one's going to prevent me from that.

I am with you there, St Mark's. The whole referendum was a shambles from start to finish.

Based on lies and non truths. I will never accept that the last referendum result is correct based on the way it was run.

I see the Cayman Islands has its usual stand at the Tory party conference. Quite obscene really.

Why do these **** think the Country has no money for nurses and schools?

At least he squeezed his hand, looked like he was going to snub him altogether.
Just imagine the serious rifts in the Johnson clan there must be, when brexit's even done damage on here .!

Not really meaning here specifically and only. I mean everywhere. Seems to be a lot of he said this, he said that stuff on FB and here too and then questioning every little thing but gaining nothing. This vid is making their own story like a journo would. Creating rifts between anyone and everyone. When it was a hand shake and they didn't even reach out. So its void in my opinion

All getting to me a bit I think, seem to be going through a range of emotions for no gain for myself. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm getting it out on people here which I'm not meaning too just venting frustrations.

The video shows something that actually happened. Everyone can make up their own minds as to what it actually means.

Perhaps the real question is; Was that choreographed to "show him up" to his opponents, or for him to "make a point" for his supporters.?
Either way, it would seem to me to follow with this divisive policy of promoting the polarisation amongst us.

Sounds like that Tories are now starting to panic.

They know their No Deal bluff is going to hurt the UK far more than the EU and they will be trying to win an election on the back of it with potentially part empty shelves and double figure inflation at Xmas.

He walked past two black guys who were clapping. They didn't stop clapping, Johnson didn't offer either of them his hand. Johnson's father wanted to give his son a hug but Boris didn't see it.

I really think there's nothing to it. Johnson isn't exactly socially adept.

I agreed with Kwacky. It's just one of those things in my opinion, but it's one of those clips where it is going to rally a lot of hate up for no apparent reason in a time when we don't need hate
