Ridden a gen 1 s1000rr around silverstone but always thought they would be out of my price range tbh

That is a lovely looking machine.

Get yourself down to machine mart and buy a roll of the rubber matting. It will cover the whole floor with a bit of luck. Painting never works as warm tyres lift the paint. The rubber matting also makes the floor less cold in winter.
