They're in power so they control the media. Simple as that

As I say it's a bent and corrupt world.

Labour are no better. All 10 boroughs of Manchester are Labour controlled, yet many local councils have £159,909,000 in reserve despite many cuts to local services

Journalists are more-often-than-not fairly left-wing, aren't they??

Only the ones working for left wing organisations.

Which is the majority. It's a good idea all things considered....the Labour "working class" get to gawk at yesterday's newspaper cartoons from the discarded newspapers they brought their pie & chips home in, after another arduous day playing draughts & dominoes at the optimistically titled "Job Centre".

I'm not entirely sure what you're harping on about to be quite honest

Which you and I and Companies will pay.

I doubt he will get it through Parliament anyway but if he did watch out for the riots on the streets.

Rabid Raab is out. Thankfully.

Looks like there was a lot of tactical voting. I wonder how much shifting they'll be in the next round?

I see also Rory Stewart actually gained votes.

Johnson might well not have a majority in Parliament if he wins.

It's all of Parliament that benefits Duke so he very well might.

An MPs salary is £79,468 and conveniently he wants to move the 40% tax bracket from 50k to 80k

Why? As Im not so sure tbh. Money talks and £6000 per annum is a hefty bung.

Because it would be political suicide.

To move the tax burden to low earners from high earners would mean an instant no confidence vote in parliament and an election he would most definitely lose if he tried a trick like that.

It's not economically viable.
