Sorry to hear that Kwacky. That's proper crap. Isn't it because of being lawless or because we are all being pushed for more and more and people just simply haven't got the time and energy to do the right thing

Red light jumpers.

Seems so many have no clue as to the potential consequences of their actions.

I always try to check the traffic has stopped before I move away from the lights now.

Lloyd’s Bank. What a bunch of obstructive, unhelpful arses. I’m done with them, as soon as I’ve settled my Mums estate fully I’m closing all accounts and moving. (swear)

I feel for you, Deegee.

One of the places i work at has just taken on an ex Lloyds manager who had to leave due to ill health. He is now seeing the other side of his previous job and admitted to me that he can now see that the bank has their strategy all wrong and if they carry on in the way they are doing they will eventually lose out to the new style banks coming through.

The law of sod dictates that if you treat yourself to a new bike, then in the same week one major kitchen appliance ( washing machine in my case) will expire terminally. (facepalm)

Been there Duke, at one point we had a run where we’d replace one domestic appliance only to have another within a month or so, i was too scared to buy anything decent like a bike.

Fecking women who leave tissues in their pockets and then give me clothes to wash for them (gah)

:D

That's because men rely on their pockets...the only thing they're likely to leave in them is small change & plastic lighters. Women use purses for their stuff, but won't put a used tissue back in a purse.

We don’t live together yet mate, so she is just up here atm as it’s school holidays and her kids are at their dads for a week. In fairness she didn’t give me the clothes, but a pile was growing on my bedroom floor so while doing the housework post the family visiting I thought I’d sort it.

She’s paying in other ways ;)

Not a vent really but MIL has been blue lighted to A and E this morning with suspected sepsis.

Wife says being in an ambulance with blue lights is an experience when fully alert.

Sorry to read that Duke, I hope she gets well attended to this time & that your wife isn't too upset by this latest development.

She is spending the weekend in hopsicle until they know exactly the extent of the infection and whether sepsis is the issue.

Quite a traumatic day but the wife coped admirably in the circumstances.
