Feck, we’re nearly at parity, that’s not happened since Christmas 2008!
It's a calculated attack on Stirling, there's no reason that GBP should be any any more vulnerable than the Euro or US Dollar. We however are the easiest target for traders to play around with.
Some will be getting very rich on these currency runs, and there will never be any consequences for them.

There's a lot less £££'s in circulation than either USD, or €uros....probably means it makes a bigger shift either way when the markets change.
And then there was Brexit..........

£/$ level is at the lowest since 1985

Looks like everyone is moving towards the dollar.

Add in the B word, and its easy to understand why no one wants to hold Sterling.

All staff here have been told that apart from a very minimal skeleton crew, everyone will be working from home for they foreseeable with immediate effect.

As tomorrow would have been the last day of my contact anyway, I've been released early.

Nothing confirmed, but the agent has said to be prepared to pop into the office and sign paperwork then back home to start work... Will find out later hopefully.

Found out, just after walking out of the last contract, and it's not looking like good news.

The parent company have just announced a full block on me starters. No further information available at this time.

Recruitment software, which as the job market has just come to an abrupt stop, is not a good industry sector.

There has been 1 new job posted on indeed for my skill set in the last 5 days. Usually there are hundreds.

Not good. To say I'm stressed would be an understatement.

I see Italy is really suffering as the population didn't self isolate when asked to do so.

There is talk of an extension to France's lockdown. It's already set at 2 weeks and I'm fed up of not being able to go out after 4 days :D ;(
