I've been to the gym. I spent most of the time doing cardio watching the rugby

I let a friend talk me into a Kettlebell class today, I really don't regret it but i'm in pain from all the other stuff they add in there, not a fan of burpees.

Did all of the above but went easy on the all body workout.

Same again tonight.

I'm back to eating well again to, targeting 1700kcals/day and training 3 times a week minimum.
I'll be focusing mostly on cardio as I haven't lost much muscle mass and then increasing my muscle endurance rather than strength. My target is to get lean, not muscular.

It isn't a huge portion that's for sure. There's no oil though.. boil some water in the pan then put the marinaded meat into it with a tin of chopped tomatoes.

The paste is white wine vinegar, garlic, onion, mustard seeds and various spices plus 600g of turkey fillet.

It's okay but it isn't the best curry I've made

I admire your dedication Cav (y) . At your age I was the same. As the years have ticked on I now find beer, brandy, steak and cake staples in my diet :P

I've put on 3 stone in the last 18 months..... cakes, takeaways, more takeaways and more cakes were my diet. Oh, and copious amounts of wine and cider.

It was a tough time with the concussion, garden, workshop, university, wedding planning, etc, etc but now I have time to focus and put some effort into myself because I'm worth it (y)

Still acheing a bit... So did a core/abdominal workout and think it went crap, I have no muscle strength in my core so that just means that I should do more work on that.

Right, time to get a bit serious and get training.

Supposed negative splits tonight, didn't go quite according to plan as the splits weren't that negative... I did manage a 10k in just over 50 mins though, so happy enough with that. I haven't run that fast for a couple of years.
