Every time I start it really struggles to fire up. Today though....once I got riding, the speedo just sat at zero constantly.

Anyone seen/had that before?
I've had it before. I think I put it down to the battery terminal connections being loose.
The bike was having other problems as well though. I ended up getting a new one before things got too bad!

my speedo reads 0 all the time , but mines not clocking mileage either so I reckon its probably the road speed sensor on mine

Does this mean you need to use the force through speed cameras?

Could it be a fuel filter problem? As I read people having similar problems like this and they changed the fuel filter and all was good.
I just ordered one yesterday for £17 delivered, to see if it sorts out my starting idling and hesitancy when pulling away issues

welcome to the club (y)

Are you going to do it yourself or get Triumph to do it ?
Might be worth checking the rectifier and battery as well .... they might appear to be good but you don't know what other damage it may have caused

Triumph are doing it all. New R/R going in too.

Will treat him to a new battery and plugs.

£390 all in with Triumph. Didn't think that seemed too bad with diagnosis, fitting and parts

The electrics on those bikes aren't the greatest.

(groupdrink) happy days. You've had some struggles with this bike.

I hope you're having a hoon on it.
