We had a look in a few estate agent windows when we were in France. You certainly get a lot more value for money over there.

Well..if it's a long way from anything, and you like to travel, isn't that the perfect place for you??

Not if you are stuck there.

Travel will get more expensive over the coming decades anyway unless some one comes up with a teleportatng machine.

Yeah, but you'd look like a total hillbilly if you beamed-down somewhere carrying a suitcase. :D

That house would be about double around here as that's probably a semi 3-bed... mine's an end terrace 3 bed worth £200k, in a rough area you can get a 3 bed semi for about £170k

I couldn't agree more. I feel sorry for anyone trying to get on the property ladder these days.

NZ is a great temperature in summer, but cold in winter, for me, probably lovely for you guys. No bitey stuff there.

Aussie can get a bit nuclear in summer but you adjust. Lots of bitey stuff but I’m in the bush a lot and in 19 yrs I’ve encountered 4 snakes (one on my door step) and none have caused me grief.

As for travel, Indo and pacific Islands are close and cheap, but I do have massive jealously of your guys European access. That’s like a once in a lifetime trip for us.

I'd feel too exposed using that bog.
It's stuck out there in the middle of nowhere.

And then someone comes in to take a shower....what would you do? Wipe right in front of them??

It's had a lot of work done to it and the garden looks long. But otherwise it's not got much more going for it. There's no garage or parking I can see.

More than a £200k increase in price since 2013. Jeez.

No parking anywhere nearby either.. . The garden looks long but the camera is deceiving slightly .

All of that area is permit parking only and the costs per year are pretty high too

I know I've improved my home but our house value has increased more than £20k in 2 years where other properties have only increased about 5k

The listings says that the garden is 150 ft long. Loads of room to extend the house into :D

The kitchen is the strongest selling point on a house. Then bathrooms.
A decent front garden helps. Back garden is generally irrelevant because everyone changes them anyway.

Something overlooked until it stares you in the face are the windows and doors too.

Kitchen
Bathroom
Glazing
Exterior
Other Rooms
Back Garden
