She would be too busy getting the insurance documents out ;)
I should hope so too :)

:D :D

Hmmm.....death can have poignant if not downright funny moments.....I know my Dad, in his job as a cop for 35 years, collected plenty of stories....some tragic, some downright hilarious.

I well remember me getting into an argument with my Dad a year after my Mom passed....I'd called him up because it was her first anniversary and I knew he'd be feeling it.....he kept telling me "It's tomorrow!"..."No, it's today!!"
As it turned out he was right....she did indeed pass away on the 16th, but because of the time difference I found out on the 15th!!.....quirky little things like that can really help with dealing with a loss, especially if you can be a bit cynical about it all.

Sorry to hear about your Nan Kwacky, am also glad that you've mourned her passing - to be brutally honest I was a bit short changed with my Grandparents and wasn't affected when they died, good to hear I'm in a minority.

so sorry about the loss and I apologise for not offering condolences earlier, but relocating has been a bit of a nightmare.

Elderly people at that age are so interesting to talk to and I'm glad you had her for so long , a grand old age.

I am going through the end of life of my Mum and it is tough on grand children too.
