I have used a road bike up until this one.
As for times I was putting in more consistent times in and around the 2.10 to 2.15... I am sure for many reading this they are not blistering times.. But I was well pleased. Next goal get below 2.00. ;)

Nutz to answer your question, no comparison the Suzuki is a far better bike than the CBR I had. After all the Honda was an old steelie road bike with track fairing this one is a proper track bike with good kit fitted.

I felt more comfortable with the 600 on track for sure, let the improvements continue :) I was making the most of my tyres as well

What tyres did you use? I would be interested to know roughly how much track time they had and what the wear rate is like.

Looks like there's a bit of tear going on with the shoulder of the tyre, the centre looks better though, difficult to say any more without looking at it and knowing more about tyre behaviour in hot places like Cartagena, that's not something I've come across in the UK.

As for the tear, I think I did that at Snetterton, well I know I did it at Snetterton, at Cartagena I used Dunlops recommended pressures, had a good check throughout the day on levels, they increased a couple of psi after a really heavy session. But as you can see, when at the correct levels the wear was perfect, and the tyre was not really on the area where the tear is much (giggle)

I'm trying to work out what that guy does at the 50s point. I thought he clipped a curb then sat it up but I think he's too far out for it to be the kerb.

As far as I am aware the bikes engine is a standard K6 Gixer. Its does however have very tasty suspension, brembo master, PC5 power commander, nice carbon fiber engine protection. No quick shifter as the one fitted does not work with the PC5 only the 3. Arrow can, New hoses, quick action throttle, Feel free to add what I have missed Mick.

I shouldnt keep asking for info really as I already know where this will end up :? And it will be expensive (facepalm)
