Last night's ride home was entertaining. One minute it was monsoon season the next I was being blinded by the sun.

Nice dry but chilly ride in this morning.

Using the moped every day but the bike is sitting begging to be ridden, just need a day off that's dry

Got it naked, oil change, coolant flush and refill, bleed brakes, tension and lubed chain, gave everything a good check over and put it all back together.

Then loaded on the trailer for an early morning tomorrow.

If I get chance I'm going to install a different map on the power commander as bottom end fuelling although not bad could be improved.

Took the baffle out of the can too, so going to try an old map specific for baffle out which I used to run and liked.

I gave my two a quick wash off today and tidied the shed up. Gave the chain on the RSV a good clean and lube ready for its service on Tuesday. Also found a guy on eBay who will make some bobbins to fit the CBR.

Fitted the carbon front mudguard i received last week.

Not the best of photos but i didn't have the energy to move the cars.

Then spent an hour flipping the clip on clamps to see how the bike feels. It makes the bars much flatter. Its a trial run to see whether its worth investing in some adjustable bars.

Carbon intakes are a bit of a murky area, Blade.

Firstly the indicators are fixed to the air intakes and not many carbon versions have these as its more a race item, and secondly the air filters are inside those air intakes. Only the Ducati Performance carbon intakes have facility for the original air filters. Others have tried air filters over the airbox itself but they don't generally work very well. Even s/h the DP air intakes can sell for upwards of £300.

I have been out this morning and tested the clips-ons with the clamps upside down. It certainly makes the bike much less uncomfortable but the bars are now flat and it doesn't feel like a sportsbike anymore. However the idea of moving the bar angle now seems good and i might invest in some adjustable angle clamps/clip-ons over the winter. I would like them to be somewhere between where they were and where they are now.

£300 doesn't sound too bad tbh as the bikes a keeper so you will get the benefits from the mod.

Have you considered a slipper clutch. Its a great mod in a v-twin and something I wish I had done much earlier.
