Finishing the shoe cupboard with the final bits of chamfering and the painting.
While it was drying I cleaned the car again.
Now the wife is doing the final coat while I type this.
Going to the airport later to collect the in-laws who got an emergency flight back home today. If they didn't go on their holiday they wouldn't have gotten any money back nor a transferred date. In going they got a bit of a holiday and they get a refund too.
Last day at home so usual mad Monday doing house work and packing kids up.
But different this time though. Normally the house is empty while I’m away. But Jess has her rental gets major repairs from water damage so is living up here for a few weeks. Also her friend Jen has been flown home of her cruise ship she works on (she’s on the brand new virgin ship now, and hasn’t actually had paying customers on it yet) but because she’s been overseas she has to do 14 days self isolation. Unfortunately her parents are quite elderly and only have the one bathroom so she’s moving up here too. She’s taking my sons room at the end of the house and has a bathroom she can use exclusively.
So going to have a house full of tasty women and I’m away for 3 weeks

So Jen isn’t coming up now.
She’s come down with a fever, tight chest and fatigue. Told her to go get tested ASAP

Been out to the local village to meet our delivery of raw dog food, which is a relief as we had run out.
Mask and Gloves on. No where near the delivery driver. Chatted to a guy I know from a long distance, but very very strange experience with no-one out. Everyone being quite sensible. First time I've been out in 10 days - no gendarmes, which was also a relief.
France's deaths and infections has accelerated, so it shows it takes a while for the virus to show itself - i hope it peaks this week and we can start to plan, but i suspect they will announce further extension of our total lockdown.

On a flight to Darwin. One week strict quarantine in Darwin then rock star treatment being transported to a charter jet on the tarmac to avoid contamination in airport. Fly to Timor and in a chopper for two weeks offshore.
No official word yet but hot rumour is we are getting a self isolation exemption on returning home due to maintaining a COVID free work place with our location and pre-quarantine procedures.
