He's sacked a Shadow transport minster for being on a picket line.

If labour don't stand for workers trusts what do they stand for? The LibDems are more to the left than the current labour party.
Starmer and his mentors honestly believe they can out flag shag the Tories into the next election. They won't

Despite their claims I believe that ^ could easily pave the way to another disaster like 2008 or a lot more repossessions in the next few years .

This tells me 2 things:

They know Interest rates will rise by more than 3% this year (which given what the US and EU are doing will be easily achieved)

There will be a ton of mortgage defaults and banking issues in the next few years. My view is that it will be worse than 2008, just a slower longer decline as they will try and prop the system up - rather than dealing with it and allowing a proper recession of the natural cycle. Energy costs and or inflation will see to that too.

What they should be doing is tighting up on people betting against the market and making money out of the drops - which just get bigger. They should also be looking at tighting up unsecured debts, car loans etc - thats the bigger issue.

Apparently the banks are well able to sustain a big crash according to the BOE report I was reading the other day.

The UK is so heavily reliant on property prices rising to keep its economy going.

A friend was telling me he wanted to view a house a couple of weeks ago that had come on the market just two days before and the agent refused as they said they already had 40 viewings booked. It’s complete madness.

I don't think it will be like 2008....the sub-prime-crisis-thing that happened in the US (and then spread like wildfire around the globe) won't happen...or at least should not happen this time around.
I think with inflation, the monetary aspect of it, the pure numbers, will make things appear to be worse than they are.

Interest rates go up to 1.75%

The bank of England confirms we're about to go in to recession.

There was a few key phrases quoted from the lass that kind of lend themselves more to a regrets-the-morning-after scenario than anything else...at least, that's the vibe I got from it.
And she did talk to the police apparently.....so far they've not charged him with anything, correct?

I find your views on sexual Adidas to be very old fashioned. I bet you think she asked for it by accepting drinks. She was probably wearing lipstick as well, the slag.

Fixing the NHS - a near impossible job for new PM? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-62757787" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Alarming.

I wonder how all those old Tory voters will feel when they realise the party they have voted for for the last 12 years has destroyed the health service they now need.

Not long now...

Fwiw I reckon we'll be Trussed up by the Con' party, because they will be voting for the best interests of the Con' party. ( Looking forwards to the next election, Truss will be more likely to compete well against Labour).
