I ragged it as best I could.. jumped the mountain too. It's pretty sketchy when you don't jump straight though haha

That feeling of panic whilst you're airborne & clearly not heading parallel to the track. You're powerless to do anything about it, and you know that too much input when you land could be equally disastrous.Cav wrote:I ragged it as best I could.. jumped the mountain too. Exactly that! haha. I had enough time to think "loosen your grip and hold steady throttle".... I didn't have big enough balls to relax my grip

At Staffs Triumph having my brake pads changed under recall. Apparently they are finding a few that were not in good condition.

New brake pads fitted in 20 minutes.
Its weird seeing a dealership so short on staff on the shop floor. If you want to talk bikes sales you have to make an appointment for the time being.
Found the first issue with the Street. If it rains and I get wet, i also get cold with so little wind protection.

We've all done it mate. That's why my versys has a yellow cloth on it, a reminder.
On the other two bikes I use alarm disc locks, so you get the audio warning.

Arse. Yep, as kwacky says we've all been there. I've used one of those yellow bungee things that goes round the disk lock and throttle.Perkles wrote:rode off with the disc lock on ,one fooked carbon fibre mudguard

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
There is the issue.
Lockdown being released and the roads seem full of more cars than ever.
Also saw Plod sat on a bridge by me overlooking the M6 with his speed camera. Some people wont be happy in the next two weeks esepically as the M6 there is a 50mph limit due to roadworks. I bet he will be able to pay off half the national debt with the fines he raises today.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
On the way to and from Cadwell I just stuck the car on cruise control at 70 and didn't take it off for over 2 hours.
On the M6 so many people speed through the gantries when there isn't a posted limit and so many of them get flashed because they think the cameras must be off. It's still a 70mph zone idiots!

Went to Stow to meet Frankie for coffee and cake. After putting the world to rights I took him around some of the Stratford roads for a gentle pootle before going our separate ways.
