Her Chemo and suffering seems to be positive. The cancer is shrinking as they hoped and expected.
4th session out of 6 is on the 18th with a follow up consultation with the surgeon on the 20th

Really good news Spudda, any headway made against this foul and beastly disease is a reason to feel better. Fingers crossed it continues to shrink. (y)

More blood tests tomorrow (Tuesday) and her 4th session out of 6 of chemo on Wednesday.
We have friends over from Ireland at the moment and they've spent a couple of hours with her today which she enjoys as it breaks up the monotomy
I've just been out for a beer with them and they cant believe how positive she is.

Thats what everyone has said and thats one of the great attributes she has ( as well as a great husband (wasntme) )

Mate, sorry I haven't been on for a while and missed your message

4 down and 6 to go. They have changed her drugs and she is now aching all over. All her limbs and joints ache and it hurts to move, she really is suffering

Don't worry, we've moved on South now but wouldn't just pop in, you've got enough to deal with. You know we are thinking of you.

Sorry she's suffering with new drugs, I assume it's because she's doing well?

Sorry to hear it's proving so tough, Spudda. But be strong for her, however difficult that might be for you now, the reward for getting through it and some normality back to your lives will be worth it.

Thinking if you all and I know I can speak for the forum to say just PM any of us if you need a chat or anything at all we can help with.

They gave us a stern talking to about do's and dont's when we had the first Chemo session and one of the instructions was to ring if she either felt sick, tired or if her temperature went above 38' ........ Temperature has soared to 39' and we're about to take her in to A&E, I'm just waiting for the babysitter to rock up.
