Rideout down saouf

Post by D6Nutz »

I've been granted a day pass, and dependent on the weather in going out on the bike.

I plan to keep to the south of the country, but the destination well be entirely weather dependant.

If it's good I fancy doing the run I did a year or so ago from Wantage to cheddar gorge, or a blast down to the south coast some where for an ice cream.

If it's not so good then either box hill or loomies.

Anyone who fancies joining me is more than welcome, and any other suggestions for a route just as welcome

Keep an eye on the weather, it's not very promising.

Yeah, I know. But it's the only day this weekend I can get out so I was being hopeful. You never know (crosses fingers and toes)

Cheers mate, given the forecast I'm going to play tomorrow totally by ear.

Where I go is also probably going to be decided by which direction has less cloud.

It was lovely in places, horrible in others. Still, managed to burn my way through 2 full tanks of fuel (happy)

I tried coming over that way (rain) any thing south of reading was shite, but had some real good fun round didcot and Marlow.

I wimped out in the end, it had started raining by the time I got in from work so decided to give the bike a spruce up, lube and tension the chain and generally mess around in the shed watching the rain come down! Good old British bank holiday weather! (rain)
