My thoughts exactly......you have to figure she has a whole bunch of people advising her that this is the best strategy to adopt at the moment.Blade wrote:Very risky but surely she has thought it through

Re: Theresa May announcement
Currently 20 sitting Conservative MPs are under criminal investigation by 16 police forces. If any of the candidates are charged and found guilty of an election offence, they could be barred from office for three years and/or spend up to a year in prison. This is the largest number of MPs ever to be investigated for violations of electoral law. In the past, cases of alleged election fraud have usually focused on a single MP.
The real reason why our unelected Prime Minister is now going back on her repeated denial of there being a general election before 2020, is because she knows they're in grave danger of having their majority stripped from them. She wants a fresh election result so she can brush the 2015 cheating under the carpet.

Re: Theresa May announcement
Those advisors are probably the same ones who told her to go with the Remain campaign.

Re: Theresa May announcement
Apparently was her husband on a walk last Sunday morning who advised her to go for an election. Some expert discussions there then.Kwacky wrote:Those advisors are probably the same ones who told her to go with the Remain campaign.

Chilling, fascistic, hateful, deranged. Oh, and it’s what Lenin said in 1918

Re: Theresa May announcement
Well yeah....but Lenin prolly also said things like "Kill the royal family" too....
Actually...I'm pretty sure that's EXACTLY what he said.
