A not very impressive Sunday lunch, we've been to this particular restaurant in the past and it's been great, but the owner is diversifying and has not kept standards up, the clue should have been that the place was half full when it's usually packed with people waiting. Win some, lose some.

I probably rode past you yesterday.

Had a session blasting up and down the Snake (lol) rather slowly in a vane attempt at trying to remember how to ride a bike (blush)

I was more Rusty than D6''s chain (facepalm)

I was thinking that when I read you were about that area yesterday. I would have been plodding along pretending to be Nick Berry in Hartbeat on my Street Twin.

It was nice. I went the boring route up to the Peaks on the M1. Left my house at 08:00 and plodded up with earphones in, very little traffic, good weather. Brekkers at Ladybower then across Snake Pass and back, then onto Bakewell, Buxton, down to Burton on Trent then past Hinckley and into Coventry. Covered approx 250 miles and with motorway and riding around the Peaks.

We've got carpenters in this week working in two rooms, do the house is like a building site. So we're having pizza for tea so we can eat it on our laps, surrounded by various pieces of wood and building equipment.
