It doesn't matter how many protection devices and warnings we put in place, the truly stupid will always find a way to injure or kill themselves.

I was actually quite surprised when I moved to Aussie that they allow 240V outlet in the bathrooms. In NZ you can only have an approved shaver power outlet.

There have been a few cases of people being electrocuted using their phones in the bath whilst charging them.

Imagine being so addicted to your phone you put your life at risk.

To be honest I honestly don't think some people are aware how dangerous it is. We all know that electricity and water don't mix. But I recogn people see these videos of waterproof phones etc and they don't calculate the risk of when the charger is fixed into the phone - charger is supplying a massive amount of electric and I think people aren't considering that part of it. Why else would you take a risk like that. Or is it - 'it will never happen to me' situation??
