Hells Kitchen at the moment. There's a new series of it. I love seeing all the chefs thinking they are the best when clearly they aren't as good as they think they are!!

Re: What you watching?
There was a great series on Channel 4 about a guy walking mostly Central America (he started off in Mexico). Last night was the final part of his journey, going through some uncharted jungle. At one point they walked a mile in 3 hours. One of the guides had a very lucky escape when a Fer de Lance snake bike him but it only caught the cloth of his trousers. A bite is usually fatal.

I watched that. His 3 series have been great. This one i thought was too short though - deserved a few more episodes.Kwacky wrote:There was a great series on Channel 4 about a guy walking mostly Central America (he started off in Mexico). I thought the same, but wondered if a lot of it couldn't be filmed because of the areas they were in?

A few were under martial law i'd imagine. He's got balls as some of those areas really are dangerous for westerners i would imagine.Kwacky wrote:I thought the same, but wondered if a lot of it couldn't be filmed because of the areas they were in?
I like the fact the programmes show the people he meets are just people, trying to get on with life - happy and unthreatening and interested to see what he's doing.
