Watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation last night, dated but they do nail it perfectly at times.

Star Wars: A New Hope
It rolls straight on from the end of Rogue One. They're done really well how they tie them in.

Almost at the end of Luke Cage.
I'm going to use the Christmas period to blast through season two of The Man in the High Castle.

Well, they've had plenty of time to figure it out, I reckon. Might go see that a bit later if I can be bothered.......watching Alaska State Troopers right now. What a frickin' Godawful place to live.

Re: What you watching?
That's not what I meant. The two films are back to back, whereas most star wars films have a timeline gap between them.

Re: What you watching?
My sky package has now got Box Sets included in it for the next 3 months so I've started watching Limitless the telly series, loved the first episode then next thing he's working for the FBI...hmmmmm typical American fashion however I loved the film and love the idea of being able to watch more of the same so I am sticking with the series, also love the fact it's got the original guy in it. I usually don't like American series because the drag them on and on and come up with silly ideas!!

Re: What you watching?
Finally got round to watching the last in the Luke Cage series. which was very good. If you like your music there are some great artists in there and a couple of cameos from hiphop stars.

Watched the BBC 4 programme last night about the new technology and structure built to enclose Chernobyl reactor. It's worth watching on catch up. If you like your engineering it's a fascinating programme and shows what can be achieved when Nations work together.
Brilliant piece of documentary.

Re: What you watching?
How much of a timeline are we talking here?? I always thought they were pretty close together??Kwacky wrote:That's not what I meant. The two films are back to back, whereas most star wars films have a timeline gap between them.
I mean, Luke and his cronies buggered off to Hoth, and then had trouble adapting their speeders to the cold weather, so I figured they'd only been there for a fortnight or so. It's not like they'd want to stay much longer than that, Hoth sucks.
--------------------------------
Hmmmm.... a quick check proves you are right. TESB is set three fricking years after Star Wars!!! WTF were they all doing in the meantime?? Bugger all by the looks of it. What a bunch of lazy feckers....if I had a Galactic Empire to conquer, I sure as feck wouldn't spend three years sitting around wondering what to do next....that's just plain lazy.
Fecking rebel retards.
