Me and the boy just watched the trailer.

I've watched it half a dozen times. Lots of little easter eggs in it. Some very nice touches there.

Tickets are now on sale. I need to find a day when all of the Kwackys are available. It's a shame my son can't watch it on IMAX.

I usually book tickets online, that way you get the upgrade for the same price.

But if it's a family film we all want to see then I have to check for dates. There's usually something on most weekends.

Not long now. A few mates have got tickets for the first screening. I know one of them will slag it off, he always does. It gets a bit tiresome when each new film is crap, yet he'll watch it a couple of times and then buy the DVD.

Not made plans when to watch it yet, but dead excited. It looks the best one so far from the clips.

Initial reviews are very promising. It's supposed to be more of a war film than the other Star Wars films. Darth Vader is in it more than people hoped/expected.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

Let's just get this out of the way, this is a bleak film. It's not cute, it's not cuddly, it's not a kids film. This is a fairly brutal war film, well as brutal as 12A can be

They've put a couple of CGI characters in who are done reasonably well but you know they're not human. Vader is in it more than I expected but they've done well in how they use him, it's not overkill

The start is a little bit disjointed but the film soon finds its tempo. The characters are good. They've made sure the film stays true to what's happened before it, so there are no jedi here.

Sounds great!! I like bleak more than bling-driven-bland. Less-is-more, etc.

I think I'm off to watch it a bit later. Depends.

That's cool as feck if they put real-life hero into the movie....they're usually pretty good at doing stuff like that...Audie Murphy, the new Hanks movie, etc.
