Doing some exploring around the Island. Trying a few new roads. Ended up at a cafe at the back of the airport.

The end of a very enjoyable days riding. Now for food and beer

Put the Street Triple back to complete stock. Well, sort of. I'm missing a gasket from the link pipe to one of the stock bazookas, I mean, end cans.

Managed to dodge the thunderstorms, but the roads were soaked so there was loads of spray.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Didn't go out on the bike but instead had a drive as I had my dog with me and she didn't really want me to leave her.
I tried to find a route my observer took me on a couple of times only a year ago. I have found that one of the older roads that had stones and pot holes has been resurfaced and is now in amazing condition and I have found one road that used to be national is now a 50...what the feck!! I didn't find all of the route but instead I carried on and found some new roads around the Oxfordshire area which should be pretty class to try BUT they are bloody 50s too with areas where I'm sure the old bill sit and wait Anyway I am planning to get out on it soon

Covered it in god knows what.
The road next to mine has been resurfaced. With the new tarmac and the rain there are pools of what looks like oil (I know it's not). My bike is now covered in the stuff. Guess I'll have to give it a wash at the weekend.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I haven't touched either bike for about 2 weeks now, just haven't had the time, i'll be out this weekend though.
May take the 999 out for a spin, even though its only on a daytime MOT, I took it out for about 90 mins a while back and didn't find it too bad. it is odd though not having mirrors I may go down the bar end mirror route, undecided at the moment.

Washed the Multi after its weekend adventures.
Felt sorry for myself as the best of the season is nearly over so ordered a carbon screen for it.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
It was nice last night and I got a message from a couple of mates saying need to get out look outside...I said it's rude not to!! One of my mates just got a ZZR1400 so we had a little blast over 100 miles didn't get in until about 2030. I haven't ridden in the dark for a long time. It's scary atucally but it was good as it's homed my skills a bit more. I wanted to stop off in Pangbourne and take some photos by the river but to be honest it would of just added more time to the ride. Absolutely fantastic needed a good blat as haven't been out for almost 2 weeks due to holiday away

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Very foggy ride into work. I couldn't believe how many cars were driving without any lights on, despite visibility being down to 100m in some places.
On the plus side my brake light is working again. Clearly something is loose or a wire is breaking.
