Pure genius. All i see are people posting Charlie and the Chocolate Factory links but he did so much more than just that.

My personal fave was the Silver Streak. His work with Richard Pryor was brilliant. they just played off each other.

I think my favourite is Young Frankenstein, but Blazing Saddles has to get a mention along with The Producers.

I have to admit that I wasn't a big fan of Wilder, bit of a one trick pony IMHO. Only a couple of his films that I recall that stood out for me& they were "The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother" & of course "Blazing saddles".

They've done it before.

And even released tracks where only one of the members was actually playing on it.

It's common practice in the music biz to do stuff like that.
