As for the RSV4... £350 more for insurance isn't a great deal in the grand scheme of things. If you have ridden the bike and love it, love the way it looks and everything else associated then why not just go for it? If I could afford to buy one and it was £350 more than my ZX6R I'd definitely get one (£775 for insurance would be a good deal in my book)
Cav I would in a heart beat and is basically what I said tbh. It's the fact my current insurer won't offer cover on the rsv4. If I cancel my current policy mid term (loose 6 months cover ive paid for) and I go with a single bike policy then I can't use my 12 years NCB on my second litre sportsbike which would then get very expensive to insure. As you can only use your NCB on one policy ideally I need a multi bike policy. It's work in progress but believe me if I can sort something out it will happen.

I have test rode one and it was by far the best bike I have ever ridden by a very big margin, zx10r, Blade and SP2 all with custom set up ohlins suspension included.

It really is a mega mega bike imo.

Make sure it is a proper mutli policy, not two policies as has happened to me in the past.

What's the actual difference if both bikes are insured Kwacky. Excuse my ignorance if a stupid question.

I'm working nightshift at the moment but have just got up to ring insurance again before work.

Hopefully I will get some better news in the next hour.

It can be find if that's what you want. Personally I always want one policy for both bikes.

In the past when I've asked for a single multi-bike policy they split the no claims and you get two policies running rather than one. Having two policies for the same thing can cause issues if there's a claim to be made down the line. There can also be a problem when you renew as your last policy can show as you having 3 years no claims bonus, not the full 5. A lot depends on who is setting up the policy. I had real problems with BeWiser who pulled that stunt.

I have a multi bike policy with Bikesure. They do discounts if you're a member of an owners club or forum. I seem to get through to a human being a lot quicker than when I was with MCE (Mainly C@ñts Employed).

Those CBRs are solid bikes. I'm not surprised it went quickly.

It's not Rossgo mate and I'm not pushing mine mate as happy to px but get some test rides on a il4 litre bike as they are very user friendly imo. I think you will be pleasantly surprised as your a very experienced rider. There only naughty if you make them that way and ridden sensibly are not intimidating at all.
