That's the shocking and sad truth of the government's decision to reduce police numbers.

Looks like May has got it. Rumours are circulating that her only rival is set to step down.

A source close to the energy minister said "the abuse has been too great".

What a shambles. Now everyone who campaigned for Brexit has **** off or been told to **** off. Time for a General Election.

Was told today by someone with decent insider information that this Country has no one at all with the requisite skills and competence to negotiate new trade deals with anyone.

The government is having to negotiate a deal with New Zealand negotiators to do the work for them :D

I can imagine how that will go. (lol) (lol) (lol)

I'd agree with that as we met some friends last week who were over for their hols, one of which works in the Department for Trade - they don't have any skills to do so as we discussed it. Worse than that they were explicitly told last year that they could not spend any money or time preparing for brexit as it was not going to happen. Internally the civil service is in utter turmoil. This is from a very senior member of the civil service responsible for some elements of trade and culture (doh)

I've really gone off the Guardian in recent weeks, but this article sums that balloon faced moron up quite well.

The sad thing about this is that Cameron looks quite sane compared to May.

Under normal circumstances I would have been swinging from the chandeliers. I'm not, I know whats coming.

We've just witnessed a major shift to the hard right without a vote been cast. These B@stards are going to make Gideon and Balloon Face look like Mary Poppins.

Always. It feels like home every time I go back. But my kids are Aussies so I'm here for the long haul. I've been here 15 yrs this stint but 18 yrs all up. 40% of my life.
