$10 a bolt!!!!!! Don't forget you need 'white grease' or something for those....and don't torque them or they will twist and snap off, causing death and dismemberment....twice.

I still want one of those titanium coffee cups.....I had one, but can't seem to find it??
The cheapest secondhand standard bolts I could find on eBay were £20 or $8 a bolt, and they were off a 7 year old bike.

Funny you should mention grease, I seem to remember someone saying never use copper slip with titanium so I googled it and got everything from "It's fine, I've been using it for 30 years" to "DON'T USE IT YOUR BIKE WILL MELT, AND THEN EXPLODE"

So I phoned Pro-Bolt and the nice lady said "We ship them with copper slip"

Confused, anyone on here know?

I use copper slip with mine and always have done. No issues to report.

Lithium grease!!! That's the one I was trying to think of!!!!

But like Kwacky sez, copper grease works fine, I just found it a bit messy (it's gets EVERYWHERE!!).....like if you were to use it, then maybe wipe the sweat from your lip, and then go buy ciggies, and the store-clerk gives you a quizzical look, and then you go home and look in the mirror and see that you're wearing what looks like glittery lip gloss....something along those unforgettable lines.

It's the same here. Having the proper kit makes a big difference, at least I arrive dry.

Over the last few days changed the plugs. Cleaned and check any electrical connection. Changed the sator cover put new oil in it and a new filter.Put it back together. Removed battery just got to drain the tank then it's ready.

Finished applying the decals

Stuffed up a bit on the sponsor panels. Wet method wasn't ideal for all the intricate pieces and long thin lines. It's under the bike do I'm sure I'll forget about it! Or if not Pitty is likely to still have it on file and I can give it another crack!

Totally agree as without it your not insured and if the government wanted to tackle none insured drivers surely this would be a good idea as it's very easy to forget.

Quick question. Would your bike still be insured for theft if you had forgot your MOT ?

That's just not true Blade! If your bike was written off or stolen you may get a lower valuation for it if it had no mot but it would still be insured. Otherwise if the mot ran out you couldn't get it to the mot test centre.

I'm not sure tbh Andy.

I always thought if your MOT had ran out you were allowed to ride it to the MOT centre only if you had a prebooked appointment and you rode straight there.

You got me doubting myself Andy so I did a quick Google and found this.

"More importantly, if you do not have a valid MOT, then your motor insurance will be automatically invalid, leaving you open to a charge of driving without insurance which will add 6 to 8 penalty points to your fine. Vehicles that are 3 year or older are require to undertake an MOT."

Played chicken with the fuel gauge. It was flashing for about 15 miles. I need to get some petrol when I leave work
