Disgusting that no one intervenes or looks like remotely interested in rising the alarm.

Sadly this is the society we live in. People will take other people's valuable possessions like it's their right to do so and no one is interested in stopping it. Sickens me tbh and from a personal opinion not something I would ever tolerate.

Looked like someone was on their mobile looking at the incident as it happened, perhaps they were reporting it.?

Fwiw I would have gone across & assessed my chances. If I couldn't be certain of overpowering them, then I would have videoed them doing it. Not at a distance (like this clip) but up close & in their faces, literally.

Standing by is not an option IMHO.

At a bear minimum some one could kick the bastards scooters over, make lots of noise and dial 999.

That's what I would have done. They're vulnerable when they're wheeling the bike away, so give the one at the back a flying kick. I reckon they would have shot off on their scooters rather than risk getting caught.

Tbh the people walking by boil my piss as much as the thieving scumbags do.

Nobody expects the public to fight crime but they could rise the alarm. As long as people will look the other way the minority of scumbags who polute this earth will continue to prosper. If we stand together as a society we can defeat anti social crime and theft with a lot more success than is currently achieved.

even if you didnt want physical contact with them you could at least say " ive rung the police and they are on their way" that would do enough to unsettle them.Pikey scum

Oh I saw this on Fast bikes FB page...society today with no-one intervening, to be honest the police won't do anything about it I bet they will say the bikes in Europe even if it had just happened a minute before!
