I've had lots of nice cars and I really loved my Alfa 159 TI, 2CV and VW camper. All the rest where well just cars and OKish. Actually thinking about it I loved the BX 16 valve GTI to, and maybe my first car a Mark 3 escort.

The problem is as soon as you've ridden a a bike, everything else goes out the window

Pretty much.....a car can be fun, but it's nowhere near as visceral as a bike. But if I had to have just one vehicle, it'd be a full-size truck...they rock!!

Nice, that was one of the best mods I made to mine. When you first potter out for the first ride you wonder what all the fuss is about, that is until you crack the throttle open (devil) what a noise...

Your driving the wrong cars ,drive an early 911 with 300bhp plenty of visceral pleasure

A good fast car has its place. To me it's completely different to a bike and doesn't compete.

You can't beat a good ride on a bike, but you also can't beat a quick car in the sunshine and either a relaxing drive or with some decent music on.

Very different choices to me when I decide what to go out in or on.

Anyway, back to bikes...............

Horrible crappy British spring weather again, cold, rain and windy. It's looking better for the ride home.

How early we talking.....drove a few of the early 2002-2003 models and never could get used to that skewed seating position, or the view out the front.....the scalloping of the front fenders, the lack of a view of the 'bonnet', a really good view of the sky for some reason?....just couldn't get on with it.
Oh...and the cramped cockpit, no room to heel-and-toe, my boss yelling to slow the fcuk down....my boss yelling to floor it, etc.

And got stuck behind an HGV for about 6 miles.

LOL, I had to drive into the shity of Hull today, and was cutting it fine for the meeting. I came up behind a HGV with L plates, which then proceeded to second-guess EVERY SINGLE F*KING junction I would take. Not only that, but the bloody thing gave way to every other road user for the entire journey.!!!
I arrived around 15mins late, and am embarrassed to admit that I may have allowed my pent up frustration to influence my attitude when I arrived, (doh)

Left it at home. It was pissing it down and the car seemed the easiest option.

Refitted the wheels, then moved it to the other side of the patio so I could get in with the gardening (facepalm)

Gave it a quick wash. Tutted at myself for not getting out on it whilst the weather was nice.

Made a list of all the things I want to get sorted out on it.

Rode it down to Prescott, then up a Hill twice and then home.

On the way home gave a couple of Gixxer boys a bloody nose as they thought their Hayabusa and GSXR1000 would be much quicker away from the lights than my 'touring' bike. Pushed their way to the front and past me, who was at the front at the time.

Think they were surprised to see me still on their back wheel at the top of the subsequent hill. (devil)

Surprised myself just how quick the Multi can be when I give it the berries. :D
