One time I had a cable tie on the fork leg it got crushed by the suspension.

I have some old footage or maybe even a screenshot one time when I captured the moment I fully used my suspension travel - back wheel off the ground slightly too haha. I need to rebuild the PC it's on so won't be able to show you for along time yet

There's no denying how capable these bikes are that's for sure!

Haha.. you're braver than me already doing that in Winter !!

I'm just trying to make myself feel like a little bit less of a wimp :D

What tyres do you have on there by the way? Mines came with BT023s and I hated them.. better than the BT016s though

There's a BT021 on the front and a BT020 on the back, still debating when they go in the bin.

I've got some BSB take off SCs in the garage, but it's maybe a bit too soon to put them on. But if I fit something else decent now I'll end up doing track days on them and not using the SCs.

Tempted to say feck it and just fit the SCs now, there're not that bad in the winter.

Keep your eyes open for a cheap spare set. I got mine for £200 with brakes and sprockets..

I don't know what to fit to mine either.. got 2 worn front tyres, 1 near new rear (sportsmart) and 1 well used and very much slick supercorsa SC. I might get some Racetec RRs next (K1/K2)

Funny you should say that, just set up an automatic eBay search for ZX6 wheels

I've been keeping my eye out for a spare set of wheels.

They're not cheap for this bike.

Definitely the way to go, I'd never get around to swapping tyres on loose wheel, just for the odd trackday.

I did the same with the Daytona, but bought a bent one for 20 quid and then got Motoliner to straighten it. Think it cost around 50 quid with delivery.

I know.. that's why I dropped everything to drive to Reading and pick them up before he sold them to someone else. They were straighter than my original wheels and the tyres had 2000miles left in them. Brake discs were in better condition too

Monty, let me know what those Rizoma reservoirs and brackets are like. I suspect at those prices they're Chinese copies. The rizoma grips I got (copies) were very well made and in official looking boxes, but they soon lost their colour.
