I bet they are very good however I have big ears and if I put a hat on like that it would make me look like I have a really fat face! So I have to stick to the same type which is usually a thinsulate wolly one which is pretty tight and pretty thick so it hides my ears hahaha

It's actually quite tight - osfa, and it hides my ears beautifully, imo...
