Lucky man to get away with that. My ex used to express and I'd do the night feed if I didn't have work the next day (was doing 4 on 6 off at that stage). Quite often she'd wake up and wonder why I was taking so long and I'd be asleep on the couch with the young'un asleep in my arms, empty bottle lying on the floor.

I made sure both of ours were breast fed. Saved me getting up. Not that you sleep anyway. Once kids arrived in the house I went from being able to sleep through a migration of wildebeest sweeping down the road to being woken by a leaf blown against the window.

Exactly the same for me mate. I could sleep through a train wreck. Yet once the kids came I hear any little creak and jump up. It's amazing what our biology is capable of.

Me and Kate both slept through an earthquake in UK and a Cyclone in Australia. So are pretty heavy sleepers.

But boy can the little fecker scream when he wants titty. Only I am louder,,, when I want titty.

He slept well last night. I never heard anything and apparantly he only woke once.

Well I fell lucky. The missus said she is a light sleeper and no point in us both getting up. She said that once, about 9 years ago. I put the ear plugs back in and have slept soundly ever since (lol)

Stay in that spare room D6 (y) You have visitation rights to the master bedroom for nocturnal activity (makeup) but the spare room is your haven and your resting place as your entitled to as head of the family (y) long may it continue (rock)

On that basis Kiwi you did the right thing leaving that party. A man can not be expected to be deprived his martial rights as a husband and leader (clap)

Some one posted the below a fews days ago (rock)

I sent a copy to the missus and she muttered something about lesbians and something or another. I applied reasonable thought, decided to ignore her and continue as normal (giggle)

NB some people choice to accuse me of being Non PC or sexist but as I often point out to Mrs Blade I prefer to call it Traditional (smoking)

I started to reply to that comment but deleted it, I don't want to start unleashing my post separation bitterness. Onwards and upwards. If things progress OK with my current endeavor, I don't think it's going to be an issue for a good many years ;)

I'm showing that news clipping to Katie tonight. She is not carrying out her commitment as highlighted in that manual.

It was about this point that I realised I'd left the wine in the kitchen and I couldn't reach the remote. Still managed to take the picture myself though.
