Feels strange

After 7 years at my current firm, today is my last day. At a bit of a loose end really as I can't do anything.

Just looking forward to the new challenge ahead.

I tend to move jobs every 5 or 6 years. My old man left school and worked for the same company all of his life, from apprentice to director. I think those days are pretty much gone.

good luck you will find your way and settle again,ive just changed jobs after 20 years in the previous company and now wondering why the hell I didnt do it sooner

The change is not through choice, it is all about politics, being lied to and a poisonous atmosphere. Oh, and they breached my contract and decided that because of my health I could manage on 1 day a week with the subsequent drop in salary, even though nobody has ever asked me since I came out of Hospital last August how I am.

I can't work for someone I no longer trust.
