Brummie, who has died at the age of 70, was a remarkable man who led a remarkable life.

In 2015 he said : "I've lost all my toes to frostbite. I've lost my kneecap, part of my femur, been shot, been blown up, broke my neck and avalanched off Everest about half a mile, four times been paralysed and I've got Parkinson's disease.

They said I'd got "six months to two years to live" and that was thirteen years ago. So that ain't gonna happen."

What a life he's led.

I'd never even heard of the chap in the OP...
However
Henry Worsley died today.
IMHO not every good soldier is necessarily a good man.
But Worsley wasn't even just a good man, he was truly outstanding, & that is fact, not just opinion.!

The world is a lesser place today.
