And some folks said they sound sh1t.

Well them folk clearly need a hearing test.

Sounds exactly like a works rcv213 motogp bike which is no surprise seeing as that's exactly what it is.

How quick does it rev up..... (rock) this is no replica but the real thing with lights 8)

sounds great but way under powered for the road bike at the price,it should be a fire breathing monster and in typical honda fashion they manage to make it dull

It's a 212bhp works engine in a genuine factory prototype chassis hardly dull. If it was any more fire breathing the service interval would be one 75 mile GP race.

The numbers on paper don't do it justice and are clearly not how it should be judged but rather how it rides and sadly none of us will have that chance.

Imo I don't think Honda intended it to be a road bike at all. It is rather a limited edition, engineering showcase of their prototype racer with just enough concessions to make it road legal.

156.8 bhp in road trim for that money is shit ,it should be 200 bhp + :D

I would have to hear it for myself, because I'm not impressed with it in that clip

Only my opinion but your missing the point considering it on numbers both bhp and price or that its a road bike like a zx10r or gixer.

It's an exclusive piece of finest race engineering available today. A satelite RCV213 was 1 million to lease by motogp teams and this 100 and something grand to own.

Expensive as a road bike but when viewed at what it actual is, it's an absolute bargain imo.

I just don't understand why they didn't just stick on the race kit parts as standard and get a proper modern day Bhp figure out of it .They have diluted it for no reason which is a real shame in my opinion

I would imagine it's due to emissions and I would put money on it that Honda don't take a single order without a tick on the order sheet for the optional sports kit.

The race kit makes it no longer road legal.

I'd love to try one and if i had spare cash lying in banks doing nothing, i would buy one. It's race engineering in a roadbike and may never happen ever again.

Imagine having that and a Desmosedici in the garage to play with. I bet there will be a fair few owners with both.

Duke it's not just the inital purchase price that's the issue. I looked into ownership and insurance quotes were in the region of £8000 and only a few companies were even prepared to quote.

Not my cup of tea but i have to say it revs very quickly for its engine size imo. I imagine that power appears very quickly when twisting the wrist. (devil)

Its a bike for the very wealthiest and would be surprised if any of us see one being used on the road on a Sunday ride.

I still have not seen a Desmo on the road to date but I know there are plenty used at the two Ducati-only trackdays held in the UK each year.

Its just not a bike for your average rider and enthusiast sadly. You need to be a millionaire to be able to afford one and use it as you would like.

There used to be a company in Derbyshire when the Desmosedici first came out that would hire it for the day.

Wasn't too silly price wise either. I think between 300 and 500 for a day. Saw it out inDerbyshire a few times and I really regret not hiring that beast.

Rossgo bikes with modern electronics and big power can be used on the road and track admittedly not like Rossi but you can rag the arse of them
